Why paint, why draw, why construct?

I have become so blasé and jaded with the televisual image, nothing appears fantastic or really revolutionary anymore…and when it does the feeling soon fades. Television is intrinsically an ephemeral shallow medium. The scope for personal significance is considerably smaller. The bottom line is always money.
