The sentence is a quote from a well-known science-fiction film. Taken out of context as here, the words seemed to me to reflect my ambivalence towards idealised futures and dreams of space travel. Yet I also wanted to
manifest my doubts about sublime sensations and religious experiences. Viewing the work gives one neither of those, as the way it is made is quite transparent.
